I came aboard during the second, and unfortunately, final season of the show. I’d never written fantasy before, and it was fun to explore that world. Another really talented writing staff that included two Star Trek veterans, Ken Biller and Mike Sussman. Ken had supervised a couple of my early Star Trek: Voyager script efforts and really made them shine.

The show was filmed in New Zealand, and it was a little strange not being able to go down to the set and interact with the director and actors. But shooting in New Zealand was much less expensive than the US or Canada, and we got great production values on a relatively low budget. (Visit IMDB)
